The campsite lies on the edge of Caylus in the Tarn and Garonne region of southern France. Caylus is an unspoilt picturesque medieval town with a beautiful church, a chateau and winding characteristic streets framed by ancient buildings. The village is the regional hub of Caylus and has its own lake. There is a market twice a week, a bank, a post office, hotel, several shops, bakeries, butchers and souvenir shops. Naturally, there are several cafes and restaurants. In the summer there are many flea markets, night markets and other outdoor activities. The old town of Caylus is just 5 minutes walk from the campsite.
